National Institute of Standards and Technology releases a report on privacy engineering and risk management for US Government. Relevant principles in Australia

January 7, 2017 |

The National Institute of Standards and Technology  (“the NIST”) provides a valuable resource in setting standards on technical issues generally but in the area of cyber security in particular.  While in Australia there are agencies that publish guidelines and recommend standards the quality of the NIST’s work is exceptional and often superior.

It has released the final version of An Introduction to Privacy Engineering and Risk Management in Federal Systems.

For those interested in privacy engineering it is worth a close review.
